Round 13 saw us play top of the table St Bedes Mentone. In blustery conditions it was always going to be a tough day for football and coupled with the European exodus we were in for a tough fight against a strong outfit in St Bedes.

The first quarter was our best for the game as we were able to match our opponents in the intensity and moved the ball well when we had our chance.

The rest of the game however wasn't on our terms. Although we were able to stay within a few goals for majority of the game, injuries and a strong opposition eventually wore us down as we dropped away in the final 10 minutes to allow another 5 goals to blow the margin out to a 10 goal loss.

Although it clearly wasn't the result we wanted to the players credit they didn't stop trying and battled the game out against their opponents no matter how much they threw at us.
